Two households, both alike in dignity
From ancient grudge break to new mutiny,
Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.
From forth the fatal loins of these two foes
A pair of star-crossed lovers take their life;
Whose misadventured piteous overthrows
Doth with their death bury their parents' strife.
At the end of 2010 the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet restaged its highly successful production of Romeo & Juliet.
First preformed in 2005, Romeo & Juliet will be performed by 75 dancers of the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet including international guest artists and its own 60 musicians of Australian Conservatoire of Ballet Orchestra led by renowned conductor Peter Bandy.
